Expansion Pack

This PDF download extends my online tool by capturing dramatic portrait lighting on a female face. It includes:

  • Six high-resolution, royalty-free renders from 0° (front) and 22° (slight profile) perspectives.
  • Three-point lighting (neutral key, green accent, purple rim) with the key light shifting from upper left, to center, to upper right.
  • A seventh bonus image captures direct overhead lighting, casting deep, dramatic shadows under the brow.

Male Figure Lighting Reference

I’m pulling the camera back for this one. This full-body, safe-for-work 3D reference lets you manipulate lighting across an athletic build. It’s a simple way to examine the muscular planes of the male figure. The right reference for your masterpiece is only a few clicks away.

Orbit and move

Orbit the model or move the lights with click and drag. Pan using Shift + drag. Zoom using Command + scroll (Windows key on PC).

Turn lights on/off

Press 1, 2, or 3 on the keyboard to control one of three available lights. Each press cycles a light between two brightnesses and off.

Neutralize to white

Place green and purple lights near each other to neutralize their individual color, effectively creating a second white light.
